On June 1, 2018, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit vacated the District Court for the Northern District of California’s ruling in the matter of Zeroclick, LLC v. Apple Inc. and remanded the case for further proceedings.
The decision reverses the October 2016 District Court ruling that found invalid for indefiniteness Zeroclick’s claims that Apple infringed on patents relating to modifications to graphical user interfaces (GUIs) used in computers and mobile devices.
