Nintendo Reaches a $12.2 Million Settlement in Video Game Piracy Dispute

    On November 9, 2018, plaintiff Nintendo and defendants LoveRETRO and LoveROMS reached a $12.2 million settlement in a trademark and copyright infringement case filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.

    The case began in July 2018 when Nintendo alleged that the two emulator websites allowed users to play pirated Nintendo video games using a personal computer.
