    Prof. Parmer is an international expert in the complex software, security, and reliability of operating systems, embedded systems, and real-time systems, and has significant experience in edge-systems, IoT, and cloud deployments.

    Prof. Parmer leads the Systems Lab at GWU and has over 20 years of experience. He’s published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers in top international venues focusing on areas including safe and secure systems in the embedded, edge, and cloud domains.

    His lab has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, and Semiconductor Research Corporation, among others. His papers have received six publication awards and he received the NSF CAREER award.

    Prof. Parmer has experience with large, complex code bases – spanning up to the Linux kernel – and with analyzing their complex interactions and behaviors. He has an in-depth understanding of their development methodologies, management, and life-cycles including functional testing, performance evaluation, and certification.

    Gabe’s experience with embedded software spans from microcontroller firmware and middleware for predictable coordination, up to flight control software and vehicle software stacks. As an educator, Prof. Parmer has experience explaining complicated topics in programming, systems software, databases, IoT systems, and agile development.

    Prof. Parmer will continue his full-time research and teaching duties at George Washington University. Prof. Parmer will work closely with the DisputeSoft team so we may broaden our portfolio of compelling expert service offerings to our clients.
