DisputeSoft was engaged by defendant Luzerne County in 2010 in the matter of Doe v. Luzerne County et al. in the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania (Scranton), Case No. 3:08-cv-1155.

A female police officer filed a complaint against Luzerne County, alleging that the County had created a hostile work environment. She claimed that another officer had, without her knowledge, recorded a video of her in a de-lousing shower, supposedly for the purposes of a training video. The video, she said, had been passed around the office.

DisputeSoft’s senior computer forensic examiner, G. Hunter Jones served as a video forensics expert for Luzerne County. Mr. Jones completed a forensic examination of the hard drive on which the inappropriate video was allegedly kept. He determined that the video in question contained no deletions or other edits.

In May 2013, a jury found no liability against Luzerne County.
