On April 15, a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin granted summary judgment of non-infringement to defendant Cray, Inc. on two high-performance computing (HPC) patents in the matter of Raytheon Company v. Cray, Inc.
The software patent infringement lawsuit began in September 2015, when defense contracting company Raytheon alleged Cray, Inc. infringed four software patents, two of which were later withdrawn.
